Prep Academy

High School juniors and seniors can obtain a jump start on a career in the construction industry, getting one year of their apprenticeship finished before graduation while receiving elective credits that count towards high school graduation. Students also receive dual credit from Vincennes University.

Accredited Assessment Center

The Chapter’s Education Department provides a complete series of entry- and journey-level knowledge and performance assessments or verifications as part of NCCER’s National Craft Assessment and Certification Program (NCACP).

Craft Training & Apprenticeship

ABC offers a wide variety of training options from formal apprenticeship programs to specific task training modules of study. Each craft utilizes the NCCER world-class curriculum and learning resources created by publishing partner Pearson.

Project Management Institute

ABC sponsors a Project Management Institute held at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. This course, developed by experienced contractors and Purdue University faculty, is designed specifically to meet the needs of today’s contractors.

Safety Training

ABC Indiana/Kentucky offers a variety of safety training opportunities as well as certifications upon completion.

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers: Construction Quality Management

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) facilitates this mandatory two-day course in order to be approved as the contractor’s quality control manager. Upon successful completion, a Certificate of Completion will be awarded and is valid for 5 years from date issued.
