All assessments are based on the NCCER Curriculum for the craft tested. All written tests have been developed in conjunction with Subject Matter Experts from the industry and PROV™, NCCER’s test development partner.

Management assessments for experienced foremen and supervisors are also available.

CREDENTIALS

After successful completion of a written or performance verification, an individual’s qualifications are tracked through NCCER’s web-based Registry. These industry credentials give employers confidence in the craft professional’s skill and knowledge. They also provide the craft professional with the following industry-recognized credentials to help build upon their career in construction.

  • Knowledge Verified: successful completion of the written assessment
  • Performance Verified: successful completion of the practical performance of a particular craft
  • Certified Plus: successful completion of both the knowledge verification and the corresponding performance verification
